  1. Jesus’ disciples carried two swords (Luke 22:38).
  2.  The Books of Esther and Songs of Solomon are the only books of the Bible where God’s name wasn’t mentioned.
  3. It wasn’t recorded that there was rain on earth before the time of Noah; God watered the earth from the ground up (Genesis 2:5-6).
  4. The Gospel according to Saint Mark is the first Gospel that was written.
  5. Asides Prophet Elijah, King Solomon also anchored an event of fire coming down from Heaven (2 Chronicles 7:1).
  6. There is a 400-year gap between the Old and New Testament.
  7. Samson must have had a slender stature as opposed to the images drawn of him. Why else would the source of his strength be investigated if he had biceps and muscles?
  8. The italicized words in the Bible were not originally included in the original Bible. The translators included it for easy reading.
  9. The Israelites never had to change their raiment and shoes for the forty years they spent in the wilderness. Both clothes and shoes grew on them (Deuteronomy 29:5).
  10. The Bible wasn’t originally written in Chapters and verses. It was written straight like a letter. The interpreters divided it into chapters and verses for easy reading and navigation.
  11. The “eye of a needle” Jesus mentioned in Matthew 19:24, Mark 10:25 and Luke 18:25 is in fact, a gate in Jerusalem. It was so small a camel had to kneel to go through.
  12. The book of Job dates before Exodus; more like the oldest book of the Bible.
  13. It was Aaron not Moses who threw down his rod that turned into a snake (Exodus 7:8-12).

  16. Literally, the word “Sabbath” means “STOP” in both Hebrew and Greek.
  17. Several places in the Bible compares “God’s Word” to honey. It is worthy of note that honey is the only food that never goes bad no matter how long it’s kept (Revelation 10:9-10, Ezekiel 3:1-3, Psalm 19:10, 119:103).
  18. The Bible did not say “money is the root of all evil.” The “love of money” is (1 Timothy 6:10).
  19. Noah built the first altar in the Bible (Genesis 8:20).
  20. The original Hebrew Bible has 24 books, not 39. The 2 books of “Samuel, Kings and Chronicles” are counted as 1 book and not 2. Ezra and Nehemiah were also combined. The 12 books of the minor Prophets are all one book called, “The Book Of The Twelve."
