Men and brethren, readers and lovers, shall
we?
A
year and a couple of months ago, I started writing my first “Christian novel.”
I’ve written quite a number of other novels when I was still little (little as
in Junior Secondary School little); ranging from magical novels to birthday
stories and what have you. Read up more about that here.
I
enjoy the world my imagination takes me to because it’s unimaginable the things
our minds can bring to life, and how so those things can end up shaping our
reality. No, I’m not done with the novel yet. Matter of fact, I’ve just written
one quarter of the book, and need I confess that I’m stuck. If I told you the
storyline, I’d spoil things for you, right?
Well,
it’s not my first ever novel, but it’s my first ever Christian novel that will
get published and I’m feeling generous ahead of the publishing. One person in
this community will get the book free of
charge. When that time comes, I’ll let you know the requirements. Before then,
I’ll release a novella comprising of 3 short Bible stories written in my own
way (just the way I thought it’d happen if it was in our time). thing is, I’ve
shared two out of the three here, and the third one will come with the book.
I’m
stuck on the long novel not because I don’t know what to write. I have the full
novel in my head, but the thing with writing is that it is more easier thinking
about it than it is to write it. Matter of fact, writers do more of thinking
than writing. We could think for 20 hours, develop our characters and even have
new ideas when we’re not in front of our computers. However, when we sit before
the computer, we might not spend so much time before writing.
What’s
still keeping me going with the book and this blog is that I’m not writing it
on my own. I’m writing it because I’m inspired to and also because I was
instructed to. And who dares disobey God? Not me!
If
what I’m thinking is what you’re thinking, I’m trying to market the book before
it’s done cooking; so it wouldn’t catch you unawares.
Don’t forget to pray for me, drop a
comment under this, and share the link to others.
See you tomorrow!
More inspiration and leading
