Holla guys, I'm not just writing, like the regular. I'm not here just to type something for you to read and go and for me not to skip a day. Rather, I'm privileged to share my journey with us for the 26 days left. However, I want you to know something. I got this as an instruction, and not a suggestion, and judging from the source with which it came (in case you don't know, the Holy Spirit is the source), there's something that's expected to be drawn out of it. It goes both ways; it's for both the reader and writer.
As you're reading, I'm also reading. Yes, I
wrote it but what's the writing of a writer if he/she isn't the first partaker of
the blessing (I've mentioned over and over that if I'm not blessed by my
write-up, I wouldn't put it out [though I can't exactly say if it’s universal to
writers]). So yeah there are things I've forgotten that while writing, the Holy
Spirit brings it to my memory and I pause for a few seconds to ruminate on it.
This journey you're going on with me is a spiritual one; not your usual. What the Holy Spirit seeks to express in these 31 days, I have no idea but this much I know; He has something for you and I. That's what today's post is for; reminding you that this is a spiritual place and expect nothing less than that.
If you happen to come across posts where it seems unspiritual or humourous, just flow and allow the Holy Spirit brood upon your heart and open your eyes to what He wants you to see.
If you notice, the posts have been pretty
short; should take no less than 2 minutes to read. It's intentional. I mean, I
have quite a number of things on my plate and that doesn't afford me the
opportunity to sit to write an epistle (he who knows knows that I'm the epistle
person. I love long posts where I can expressly express myself and write down
every single thing in my head). However, the absence of enough time has made me
rethink that and sift out what's more important to write on, and not just
anything that comes to mind.
It's really strange to me that I can write
short posts (really really amusing). Check through other posts exempting these
31 days and you’d understand what I mean but these posts are half a page. While
usually, the posts are so long that sometimes, it has to be splitted into 2/3
parts. I usually try to make them as short as I can but I've never been
successful with it, but look at me today!
I was hoping to draw a lesson for you for
every post. Rather, I'll leave you to do that yourself. We all don't see things
from the same lens.
